The Chalets de l'Adret are located at the center
of the 2 Alpes resort, on the main axis when coming from Grenoble,
at the foot of the ski lifts.
The 30 apartments are distributed in 2 chalets over 3 floors for
one and 2 for the other.
It’s also: 23 garages, 10 cellars.
Apartments sizes range from the studio to the T6, for 4 to 10 guests.
Constructed at a very convenient location: 1, chemin de la Sea,
2 Alpes.
The project consists in creating two buildings with different
heights, articulated around a porch roof and stairs. This new
program foresees large terraces, therefore enabling for a smooth
indoor/outdoor transition.
The residence’s architecture takes its inspiration from
a hotel: two large pediments take the shape of the Adret's pediments.
The repetition of the pediments also enhances the garage entryways.
Suspended balconies lighten up the façade, giving it a
more aerial image, which is reinforced by stilt structures.
These 2 buildings are simply connected by a simple porch covering
the stairs.
